MICHELIN LAUNCHES THE NEW MICHELIN AGILIS LT
23.07.2010
19 July 2010: The new MICHELIN AGILIS LT is designed to address the specific needs of mini buses and light trucks which need to rely on safe, robust and long lasting tyres. It will be available in 3 sizes, 7.00R16, 7.50R16 and 8.25R16 in July 2010.
"Our main goal for this new tyre is to help our professional light truck customers to reduce their running cost, without compromising on safety” said Oliver Biggart, Marketing and Communications, Michelin Australia.
“With this new tyre, our customers will benefit from a robust & reliable tyre made of a steel casing and a reinforced sidewall against aggression. They will cover more kilometres thanks to an optimized contact patch with the ground.
The new MICHELIN AGILIS LT gives light truck and mini-bus drivers an experience of a long life in on-road operations developed by the MICHELIN Durable Technology, the latest Michelin Truck tyre innovation introduced for the first time into light truck tyres, with full depth double–wave sipes for even long lasting grip and handling,” he concludes.
Michelin has developed products in line with their usage in order to support different types of vehicles. While the new MICHELIN AGILIS LT fulfils its light truck and mini-bus customers’ needs by offering more mileage, robustness and grip, the existing MICHELIN AGILIS, designed for pick-up and vans, provides its users with high mileage and comfort.
