Wet traction

Indicates how efficiently the tyre disperses water to combat aquaplaning, and how well it grips wet roads in low-speed driving.

Wheel weights

Small weights attached or secured to the wheel to balance the tyre and wheel assembly.

Wander

A vehicle’s tendency to stray or wander from its intended direction of travel as a result of steering abnormalities, worn tyres, suspension misalignment, crosswinds, or pavement irregularities.

Wheelbase

The longitudinal distance from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel on the same side of the vehicle.
