Arcade profile
For a smoother, more comfortable ride, the tread and sidewall profile are specially designed to ensure a more stable contact patch with the road. Blind grooves in the tread secure each block’s rigidity in the dry and increase the edges to wipe off water film on roads in the wet.

Pinnacle profile tread blocks
These V-shaped grooves on the tyre break up and split noise waves and the thickness of the undertread is specially enhanced for a much quieter ride all round.

Stress Equilibrium Construction
This high-tech network of internal wirings makes sure that even under extreme pressure, stress and load is evenly distributed throughout the tyre for improved traction and longer life.

Triangular steel belts
To add even more strength, the tyre’s two full-width steel belts and cap ply form triangles which stop deformation for a more stable contact patch for greater security at all speeds and longer life. These steel belts are then protected by a thick undertread which also lowers noise.

BAZ™ technology
Another Michelin first, this special nylon wrapping on the ply helps counter centrifugal forces at high speed to control the tyre’s shape and handling.

Centre tread
The shape of the intermediate ribs gives you excellent wet weather traction as well as lowering noise.

Radial XSE Technology Green X™
Pioneered by Michelin, this breakthrough ‘green’ technology is still the standard to beat. A special silica based compound that reduces rolling resistance, Green X™ increases fuel efficiency and decreases pollution, without sacrificing any performance, tyre life or comfort.
