Excellent service at Melbourne BMW Motorcycles. Everything they promised happened, and they were very patient whilst I test rode a few bikes.They more than deserve 5 stars. The F750GS I bought is awesome! A big thanks to both Shaun and Sean.
Credit where credit is due; after a disastrous phase in the service department management have taken feedback on board and vastly improved the situation. Sebastian's service was top notch, work was completed as requested and the one fault I reported was diagnosed and fixed. Hopefully the same standard is being rolled out to the sales team as well.
I have changed my review from 5 star to 2 star, the reason being, while the service department are well presented and courteous the mechanics have damaged my bike on two occasions - the second time being a brand new bike. The customer service rep was quite apologetic and said I'd receive a call back from the service manager right away - I'm still waiting... Finally, they made a big deal of the 'free' wash my bike got - it must have been done with a dirty rag as it came back dirtier than it went in (I keep it spotless). I'll continue to return here until the warranty expires on my bike, but unless their mechanics start treating the machines they work on with care I cannot recommend the place.
Overall an amazing experience from the BMW Southbank Motorrad team from initial enquiry through to delivery! The Brand Manager, Sean Myers, displayed exceptional professionalism by looking after my every need and going above and beyond in various ways throughout the sale. Merchandise info was thoroughly described and presented by knowledgeable staff. I previously purchased a bike from another BMW dealer which doesn’t compare to the positive experience I had at Southbank. Highly recommended...
5 stars for the service desk. 1 star for spare parts. They just can't be bothered returning calls after numerous messages.
