Great touring and sport tyre
I have found the road 6 gt to be a great improvement in the road range giving improved handling and confidence in grip level.
Best sport touring tyres
This is my second set of road 6 tyres, very good milage out of the first pair with excellent grip in wet and dry conditions, it's surprising how much control these tyres give you when pressing on , makes my bmw rt feel a lot more nimble than it should be 10 out of 10.

I have tried many tyres over the years on many bikes but these are the bestest ever. They do everything i ask of them in any weather condition. I also do a lot of long distance riding and they have far surpassed anything previously for predictability.

Not so Good
To say I was disappointed is an understatement after reading about the claimed longevity and performance. I have barely achieved 11000km in Australian conditions. While the front hasn’t scalloped and has a bit mor tread than the rear it is not all it’s cracked up to be. After 2000km I did about 500km in the wet and felt unsure about the grip. They were fitted to a 2019 BMW R1250RT Sport fully loaded with luggage. I have since discovered the GT rating is probably not suited to the RT and am giving the standard pair a go. Hope they do better.

Stick with the best
My 6gt’s had excellent wet traction and gave me the best life on my concours 14. I replaced them with 7k miles, they had 2k miles left but I was going on a 4k mile trip. I strayed from Michelin and went with Dunlap RSIV- big mistake! I had horrible rain/cold first 1.5 week. I really missed the stability and wet performance of the 6gt- the best way to appreciate it is to ride with 6gt’s then switch to competitor . You can’t predict the weather when you spend weeks slabbing , you have to ride dry or rain. For rating, they deserve and extra star for wet riding . Forgive me Michelin for straying ; my next set will be 6gt’s ( unless there’s a 7GT!).

Never again!
Never again will I be lulled into straying away from Michelin tires. I have been tempted by other brands and have regretted buying them every time. This applies to my motorcycle , car and motor home. None have given me the life and performance that I get from Michelin tires.

Gt 6s gives me confence on my 900rs
Rs 900 is half the max load of the tyre with me and the wife on it we just creep over the max load and feels great, and on my own i just turn suspesion down a couple of turns and i'm comfortable with

These tyres are just simply the best. They deliver everything Michelin promise. Wet grip and more mileage is exceptional. 13,000kms with 3mm of tread to go, and in no slouch on the throttle.
