Gt 6s gives me confence on my 900rs
Rs 900 is half the max load of the tyre with me and the wife on it we just creep over the max load and feels great, and on my own i just turn suspesion down a couple of turns and i'm comfortable with
AWESOME KMS
These tyres are just simply the best. They deliver everything Michelin promise. Wet grip and more mileage is exceptional. 13,000kms with 3mm of tread to go, and in no slouch on the throttle.
Love these tires!
I put a set of the Road 6 GT’s on my new to me 2012 BMW K1600 GTL in August last year before heading out West for 19 days. Pittsburgh to Washington state via UP of Michigan, down to Utah (Utah12!), through Colorado (Million Dollar Highway) before heading for home via West Virginia. Encountered all kinds of weather (112 degrees, rain, smoke, high winds). My tires were rock stars, never slid on wet roads, they wore great without diminished traction or handling. 7,600 miles on that trip, then road to Barber Vintage Motorcycle weekend and North Carolina and West Virginia to finish them off. I put almost 11,000 miles on that set and still wasn’t completely worn but they wouldn’t pass inspection. I love these so much I put sets on both my 2016 BMW 1200RT and my 2019 Ducati MS 1260S. The Ducati handles fantastic even in heavy rain in the mountains. My friend asked if I was sliding because he was on the same bike with other tires, I was not. He is also going back to Road 6’s. I’ll admit I tried another brand after these but I will not use them again. I love my Michelins and intend to continue using them exclusively. The handling and wear are impressive. Thank you for a great tire!
Very happy
Not many miles yet but they handle very well
BMW K1600 GTL Exclusive
Great tires. Good mileage. Had 4’s and 5’s. Were great then and great now.

Michelin equals quality!
I have purchased the GT6’s since they first became available, approximately 2 sets a year. I have had no issues with quality, mileage, wet/dry traction. Keep it up!

Good but not excellent
I ride on a '18 BMW K1600GTL and on a '23 BMW K1600GTL. I am on the 3rd set of 6 GT's on my '18 and on the 2nd set on my '23. The results have been consistent. Pros: * Grip is excellent on dry roads and great on wet roads * Quick warmup - within 3 miles * Great stability and maneuverability up to approximately 70% of the tire's life span * Great curve carving Cons: * Longevity - I'm consistently getting between 5000 and 5500 miles until the wear bars are gone; Riding is spirited but not race track aggressive. * "Peeling off" edge of grooves - this may be because the groove becomes wider as the tire wears but it looks funny and gives the impression that the compound is peeling away. * Scalloping starts to develop on the front tire between at around 3/4 life span. * Maintain same performance up to approx 70% life * Cost
Bought for Looks Keep for Performance
I bought the Road 6 GT tires for my K 1600 GTL because they exude quality and have the best looking tread pattern of any motorcycle tire on the market. I plan to keep buying them because they grip great, are stable and maneuverable. I haven’t been caught in the rain in them and can’t comment on wet surface grip.
Road pilot 6GT
Had a set of 5GTs on my old bike when I bought a GSXS1000Z after the set which came with the bike ended put a set of Road pilot 6GT on it, as I knew what the 5's provided and must say I'm not disappointed excellent tyres 👍
PR 6 on a BMW K1600 GTL
I put away the bike this fall with 11,000 km on this set of tires. Great road handling performance, both on dry and wet pavement. I may be able to reach 14,000 -15,000 km on this set early next spring. I already ordered a new set of PR 6 for the summer season. The only issue I have with this tire is the road noise in curves because of the large grooves. My PR 4 on my old K 1200 GT where quieter. But still, I loved the overall performance of the tires. I am also a motorcycle instructor so I am able to lean in the curves to the limit of the tires.
