Impressed but Disappointed
I recently bought a set (front and rear) of E Wild tyres. After mounting them ‘tubeless’ with the recommended amount of ‘Stan’s’ tubeless sealant, I went for a 20kl MTB ride and was impressed with the grip. The following morning both tyres were flat. Adding more ‘Stan’s’ and re-inflating the tyres to 40psi I went for a 10kl cycleway ride. The following morning both tyres were again flat. After re-inflating the tyres I submerged them in water to find that there were a few sections of the sidewall of both tyres that had dozens of microscopic holes. I now have three times the recommended amount of sealant in them but they still loose pressure. I expected more from a premium tyre at a premium price.

fantastic
ilove the tire and i think it fits here in my place have so many uphill and downhill road and i enjoy that thing if that tire is on my bike

E-WILD FRONT 27+ 2.8
I've done around 1000 miles on this now, a mixture of bike parks (BPW, FOD, WIND HILL), offroad commuting, and general UK Mtb riding, its worn a bit but is still good for a long while yet. I am running a Commencal Meta Power 2019, otherwise stock and weigh around 90Kg riding weight. Also, I should mention that I run these tubeless with Rimpact inserts at around 23-25 PSI. Gutted that I'm struggling to find new ones to stock up on, for when these eventually die.

Great tires
I was running Michelin back in the early 2000's then moved to Maxxis. Fast forward to 2020 and I'm blowing out tires left and right. On a whim I bought some e-wild front and rear. With over 1200 hard, rocky and steep km's on the tires I just replaced the rear with the same tire. I'm hooked on the Michelins!

Grip!
Sticks where you need it to. Doesn't roll all that fast, but does the important job well!
Hi Jerr, thanks for the positive feedback on the MICHELIN® E-Wild tire that’s designed specifically for E-MTB’s. While Michelin offer a number of fast rolling XC and All-Mountain options for traditional mountain bikes, the stronger casing and aggressive tread design of the MICHELIN E-Wild tire is designed to provide optimum traction and provide excellent durability on E-MTB’s with their additional torque associated with their pedal assist and braking forces of the heavier bikes (compared to a traditional MTB).
