Perfect Tyre For Australian Conditions
Road , Dirt , Wet , Dry. Unbelievable, same mileage as my previous Anakee Adventure with much more bite in the dirt. Love them!
Wild ride on Anakee Wilds
What can I say, these tyres live up to the name out bush, phenomenal traction in dirt, sand, mud and rocky stuff, but still a great stick on the road, definitely won’t be my last set
Best all around tyres I can find.
I live in a remote area. Big hi way miles and also every type of off road terrain imaginable. These tyres give great confidence in all conditions. I like that they don’t follow groves in the road, and they don’t scallop on the front like other knobby tyres. Even have grip crossing wet rail lines that are at an angle. They will be the tyre I use to cross the Simpson desert as they handle the big miles to get there. I’m on my fifth set. Well done Michelin
Great handling, terrible longevity
Fitted these to my yamaha super tenere 1200 in South Africa for adventure trips, 70% unmade roads. Great stability off road, fantastic in sand, though not really happy above 140km on tar . Bad point, terrible longevity, got 3500 kilometers on back tire
I Run Wild!
Love the performance of these tires! They obviously perform well off pavement. What’s most surprising is how well they stick in the twisties. They are fantastic in all conditions. And Michelin sponsors Motorcycle Relief Project, taking veterans and first responders on 5 day relief rides. Our participants love running wild!
On a DRZ400SM
Great on/off tire. On dry road it competes with pure street tires (not track tires). It's slippage under full throttle is very predictable , it kind of warns you where it's limit of grip is and finds its grip back again without frightening you. On wet road and over white lines it is acceptable, more stable than a worn Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 that I had before. After about 3.000km on pavement it seems that you cannot wear it quickly with a light motorcycle, maybe after about 10-12 k kms. Off road it bites well enough, even though it is a wide one (150/70/17) , but it slips on very uneven ground (not a dedicated full knobby) of a sandy or soft-packed hill. It's knobs' edges diminish very quick on rocks (not designed for a rocky mountain single track, but I managed to pass it). On gravel roads it just rips and it is more stable than on pavement over 100km/h. Next rear will be 140/80/17, paired with 90/90/21 front.
Ducati Multistrada Enduro
I was worried about sacrificing performance on road and tires being loud. Neither of those were an issue. In fact, performance was far better than I had expected, on road and off. The only issue was the tire had significant wear for only 2000 miles.
Great 50/50 tyre
With so much on the market and having experience with the mountain bike range it’s seemed like a no brainer. Love these tyres
Great tyre for big adventure bikes
I use these on my R1250 GSA. Good grip offroad, and very good on the black stuff as well. Fast wearing tyre, but happy with the trade off for the grip. For hard, wheel spinning offroad use, you will get about 7 solid long days of riding on the rear with a heavy bike. More sedate riders will obviously get much longer use... just without the fun! I go through about 3 rear tyres for every front tyre. Definitely recommended. Biggest surprise with this tyre is how grippy they are on road. A bit noisy on the big bike. Short life and noise tradeoff well worth it.
Awesome tire the Wild
Best tire I’ve tried on the T-7 so far. Much lighter and responsive also. Great traction in all conditions and longevity you don’t expect in a tire like this.
