Do NOT buy!
Just installed today, the first two miles started getting a vibration in the handlebars at different speeds. Vibration goes away with leaning the bike. Rode for 30 miles hoping it would get better never did. Would not recommend these tires to anyone! Hopefully my dealer can make it right.

TOOK 7 MONTHS TO GET THESE TIRES DUE TO COVID . BUT WORTH THE WAIT.
now that i have had the tires on my CVO Roadglide for about 6 months. I have to say they do live up to all the hype. the bike corners far better than it ever has. the fastest i have had them so far was 110 mph and they felt great extremely stable and smooth . haven't had any rain to see how they feel but Las Vegas doesn't get much rain. i would definitely recommend these tires to anyone with a bagger or touring bike.
if you have cupping and feathering
its not the tire, its your tire pressure or alignment. i sell thousands of these tires over the years, and by far they are the best
Not Good at All
Noticeable vibration when going straight and felt through the handlebars. It completely goes away on leans and turns. There's also a noticeable seam on tire as well as elevated beads on where the tire contacts the road while going straight. I have photos from turning into Warranty Claim where I bought them. I wrote one review on here and Michelin gave their standard Copy and Paste response. :/ FYI - It's not a balance issue or faulty part on the bike. MULTIPLE PEOPLE are complaining of the EXACT ISSUE. I took it back to the shop to inspect after a couple of weeks. It was confirmed what I was saying. Thankfully the place I bought them from is covering the front tire under warranty. However, I have to pay labor cost again to have the replacement tire installed. I was told by the place I bought them from that Michelin won't cover labor, only the tire, which is total BS since it's their defective tire to begin with. So, Until they get this issue resolves, stay away from the Commander 3. You won't be happy.
i may have wasted 400 plus dollars
i have a 2015 road glide the front tire has a harmonic imbalance when driving straight goes away when turning even after replacing front bearings and getting tire electronical balance. I've been riding and racing motorcycles for years a little disappointed with tires , also been a Michelin person i run them on all my vehicles. I would not recommend these tires, did not have this problem with the commander 2
Not so Good Vibrations
From the get go, front tire hummed/vibrated from just over 20MPH into the lower 30’s. If you lean the bike either way at this speed, regardless of RPM or gear, goes away. I thought as I put miles on, this may even out. It only got worse and now I have a vibration at 50MPH plus as well. There are plenty of other HD riders out there with the same problem. The tire grips well, is easy to lean over in turns and has very good wet traction. The buzz in the bars is unacceptable.
These tires last and ride great.
12k miles on a 2019 Road King Special and the tires still look and feel fresh. Much softer than the OEM Dunlops and they don't track into highway grooves like the Dunlops. Very happy with the tires and the "feel" of the tires is very noticeable in the twisties.
Front tyre
I have owned 4 Ultra Classics over the past 16 years, currently on a 2020 Ultra Limited. I fitted 2 new Commander 3s before a trip to Western Australia. I now have 12,000 km on them and there is still a "buzzing" coming from the front tyre at approx 50 to 60 kph when going straight. As soon as I slightly turn the bars it completely disappears. I can both hear, and feel this buzzing. I have had several sets of Commander IIs over the years and they have all been great tyres.
More than pleased with this tire.
Holds lines and doesn’t hunt when you cross a groove. Odd slight vibration from the front tire at about 25 mph. Barely noticeable.
Better that Commander II’s
Nice improvement over your commander II’s
