Love them but can't wait to upgrade!
Love the Road 5s on my 99 CBR600F4. Very confidence inspiring but I can't wait to see what the Road 6 is like when the time comes. I got my mate onto the Road 5 from the Pilot Sport 2s he'd stuck to for years and now he's onto the 6. Never had them slip, they feel good under high speeds and are very stable. I just don't seem to get the life out them which the 6 seems to have addressed but maybe that's just my riding style.

Nice to ride on and amazing stability on the road
Better grip in the wet
Replaced my stock Honda CB500F with the Road 5 and noticed significantly better grip in the wet compared to the stock very happy with the performance so far.
Safety and longevity
Am onto my second set of them. OEM tyres only lasted 12k km, while the road 5's laster more than 20k km. And great grip in the wet - never felt any slip even in poor conditions.
Speed twin 1200 perfect tyre
Done many miles with these now, in rain, in mixed damp roads and dry warm days and they are excellent. Give fantastic confidence in the wet all the grip you need in the dry. I would even trackday with these (intermediate). Perfect road tyre and are wearing excellent

The road 5 is an amazing motorcycle tire that gives the rider a good feedback. I own a 2018 CBR1000RR and this is the second set of Michelin that I have put on my bike. By the way I have put over 16,800 miles on my CBR1000RR and these tires have done a better job than the Pirelli Angel.

Poor design and testing
Great tyre in the dry and equally seems good for traction and grip in wet, but such a poor design, you and your bike get absolutely covered in muck and road spray. The 3D progressive stripes suck up whatever is on the road and lob it back at you. I’ve never been so wet and mucky from winter riding.
Solid Tyres
Replaced old tyres with the Michelin Road Pilot 5s which give me assurance and confidence in all weathers.
Sweet as a nut
I've had R5s on a 97VFR, 2011VFR800X and now an NT1100. There is no other tyre for me, love em! I even had the dealer swap off BRAND NEW Metzlers for my old R5s when I traded a bike just to keep running with the Michelin Road 5s
Would recommend to any sportbike rider
Run these on my zx10r and my gsxr 1100. I've tried a good number of tires in the last 30 years and for the last 3 almost 4 I swear by these. Great for the horrible roads and weather of alaska
