Not great wet weather grip
I have a new BMW R1300 GS and these tyres came standard with the bike and i was concerned when i saw them and the reviews seemed very positive. I have been riding for over 20 years and a few days ago i was on the M25 motorway doing motorway speeds and changed lanes around a motorway bend and the back of bike just started to squirl !! I accept it could have hit a white line or a cats eye, but so could the thousands of other lane changes i have performed over the years! I have lost confidence and don't want to wait for the next episode and they are being changed to a Road 6 which inspires confidence in all conditions. After saying all the above, if you are planning to do some off roading which i am not, then as a compromise tyre these should be fine and it just needs a bit of caution on the tarmac, as they are not a dedicated road tyre. I have only covered 400 miles on these tyres in wet and windy England
Longevity and Good Grip
On my Aprilia Tuareg 660 I never had so many miles on a single set of tyres as I had with the Anakee Adventure. 21K kilometers, the front tyre still good for other 5K while the rear one maximum 1K more. Extremely happy and, yes, I'll get them again.
Tyre review
Good traction both on and off road. Wearing reasonable good. Always inflate to recommendations.
Love them
Confidence inspiring
Grippy but a bit noisy
Great tyre. I read reviews that it had noise. It does but it’s ok with earplugs.
Anakee Adventure tyres
An all round excellent tyre providing all round handling on and off round suited to fire trails and dirt roads, work well both on and off road
Confidence
Nothing can replace that feeling of confidence in your tyres and no matter the terrain or the weather these tyres give you the feed back and confidence of knowing you’ve chosen the right product.
Stability and performance
The tires are so good on the road and on the gravel.
Best all Rounders
Have been using Michelin Anarkee's / now Adventures on many Motorcycles over a couple of decades now being a fan of Dual Sport bikes for their versatility and comfort. Have tried several other brands but have always come back to Michelins for their constant good wear with whatever surfaces they are thrown at. They have always shown good braking and handling response wet or dry on road and on gravel dirt roads give a confident grip for my use.. never doubted them yet and touch wood they have been puncture resistant in my many kilometres of travel and exploring...in the past I have been an Instructor and Defensive Riding Course Trainer and tend to use tyre as they were intended. I always endorse the product and will continue to use them with the latest Adventure versions getting better in their evolution.
Amazing Longevity
I ride 1000 kilometers a week and I need longevity and grip, the Michelin Anakee Adventure surprised me for the longevity and the good grip. Right now I did 15K and the tires have still 4 millimeters tread to spend. Excellent!!!
