Anakee Adventure tires
As a motorcyclist and an avid rider, I ride a BMW R1250 GSA and the Michelin Anakee Adventure is one of the best tires on the market. I get about 10 K to 14 K miles out of a rear tire and 20K to 24K out of a front tire on the highways and back roads of Southern California. These tires are great both on the street and the fire roads/dirt roads. These tires work great in the rain and dry conditions of Southern California. These tires are 80/20 and work great for most riding. I would recommend these tires for most riders.

Anakee Adventure vs Anakee III
I ride a 2017 BMW GS Adventure. It was factory equipped with Anakee III tires. With a little over 7,000 miles on the Anakee III's, I replaced them with Anakee Adventure tires. The Anakee III's were down to the wearbars at that time. The Anakee Adverture tires were a little noisier but offered great stability and all weather grip. The only thing I noticed that was different from the Anakee III's was the initial reluctance for the bike to turn. It was not difficult to initiate a turn but I believe the tread pattern offered some resistance when beginning a turn. I also think this tendency diminished as the front tires wore. It was not a problem, the GS just handled a little differently. I replaced the Anakee Adventure tires at 16,500 miles with another set of Adventures. I probably could have ridden with them for another 1,000 to 1,500 miles but our club was taking a 2,200 ride and we were facing potential inclement weather. I wanted the peace of mind new tires offer. These are excellent 80/20 tires for the BMW GSA. Excellent all weather grip, long lasting, smooth and stable. I recommend them to anyone looking for an all weather tire.
Tires, so good that I bought a second pair.
The tires were OEM on my R 1250 GS. When I needed a new set of tires, I had to buy the same Anakee Adventures. They were fantastic. Great, wet and dry and traction.

Excellent 80/20 tire
On my second set of Anakees on my Triumph Tiger 800 and could not be more satisfied. Excellent grip in dry and wet road conditions plus very capable on light gravel/dirt that I ride. Marty
Good, almost great
These came on my new 2020 BMW R1250GS. On the road they were excellent with good grip on the wet and dry. I did one track day on them, and multiple runs at the Tail of the Dragon. They were fine for gravel forest service roads, but I suspect they would struggle in mud. The mileage I got from the set was about 6,500 miles, very good but not great, 8,000 would have been awesome. The sides of the front wore out first, the back still had life. By biggest complaint is the front tire howled. In a straight line it was fine, but with the slightest lean angle it would start to howl. This is why I switched to the TKC 70 Rocks tires. I only got 6,000 miles from the rear, but no howling.
Great tires
I love the Anakee Adventure tires. There the best adventure tire i have had love them and will keep buying this tire for a long time.
Best tires so far
I have 31000 km on the front on a R1200 GS... Back went "only" 18000 km and then I changed it ... now I'm preparing for a new set of both, they are amazing. I do not ride aggressively so I think it's a best bang for my bucks.
surprisingly very good
sticky straight out of the box. I've managed 9000 miles and they now need replacing but its a full year or more riding. it would have been 5 stars but for the one thing that lets them down. really noisy from the front end at speed.
I now have used a set on my 1250 GSA 8000kms
The tyres preformed externally well on wet and dry roads . I accidentally hit a large pothole the crack my front rim . Thy tyre got bruise as well but it only lost about 3 psi pressure . I still allowed me to ride home from Bathurst NSW to my home in Brisbane QLD. I will now replace it with the same . I would like it to be some what more aggressive for of road gravel use 70-30 if possible
